This was our second time eating here. With the Ahwahnee kitchen remodel ongoing this is by far the best option in the valley. The dining room is beautifully decorated with portraits of the valley and large floor to ceiling windows at one end. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is expertly plated, delicious and comparatively priced. Definitely recommend the 10oz fillet!

A very nice dining experience, with well prepared food. Nothing too exciting or original but like a fine dining experience. Not too very many options on the menu. A few things were a bit pricey. Big focus on expensive steaks. Good service. Beautiful space. A bit quiet and dark.

A little spendy but,.....you are in Yosemite and it takes a lot to make it happen up here. The service was great, quiet , rustic atmosphere and great food. I hghly recommend the Mountain room for a break from the concession/backpack food. Live a little .

We love this restaurant and eat here annually. Over three nights we ate all the vegetarian items on the menu--quinoa-lentil stuffed squash, portabella mushroom burger, soup, salads, mushroom pasta, burrata, even mocktails (mango is best) and vegan dessert, an ice cream sandwich. The staff is lovely, friendly, and helpful; the room, with high ceilings and great artwork is perfect. It's a fitting ending to a day outdoors.

Very disappointing experience. Setting and ambience nice, service ok but not stellar for the price. Food took over 30 minutes to be served and was underwhelming at best. My husband’s burger was overcooked even though he had a choice on he wanted it cooked. My pasta dish was bland, pasta overcooked and dry (either not enough sauce or dish was sitting too long and sauce got absorbed). This was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had and definitely overpriced.

Amazing views with out table next to the tall windows. Fabulous service from hosts, waiters, and bus staff. Highly recommend this place!

Our server did a good job but personality was lacking. We have eaten there many times but we found the menu lacked items you have offered in the past. We cancelled a second night's dinner because of the menu.

Over the last several years we have found the mountain room to be very consistent with excellent service, fine cocktails, and good food. The shareable bread on the menu is a winner. The salmon was very good. Attentive and pleasant staff who work well together as a team.
