Nestled just off one of Savannah's iconic squares, the Wright Square Bistro offers a wonderful array of seasonal, freshly prepared food with a distinctly Southern flair in a casual European style environment. From our plated bistro specialties, gourmet luncheon fare, freshly-made side items and amazing locally-made desserts, there is something to satisfy every appetite. The Wright Square Bistro uses local purveyors whenever possible to have the freshest seasonal ingredients. We offer daily specials and change our dinner menu bi-weekly. The Wright Square Bistro also has an array of wine offerings that center on boutique and organic vineyards rarely found elsewhere, most of which are purveyed by Mary Taylor Wines. We also offer a boutique selection of fine chocolates to satisfy even discerning taste. The Wright Square Bistro is locally-owned and operated by Tod Whitaker and Michael Higgins.

This place is upscale quaint and very comfortable. We went for Valentines Day and couldn't have been happier! The servers are just attentive enough, we never felt rushed and we had time to enjoy the process of the meal. The food was clearly made in a thoughtful manner with fresh, local ingredients. We live locally and will definitely be coming back!

We had made reservations really early knowing it was Valentine’s Day. We had an early reservation, so we were not concerned about having to wait. The Bistro did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in the door, the service was impeccable without being stuffy. The limited menu was very well planned, so there was something for everyone and the food was delicious and the service was lovely. And lastly, we are book lovers, so any restaurant that displays books, allows us to learn a bit about the owners. We love that. This was our first time dining at Wright’s Bistro and it won’t be our last.

We are local to Savannah and had never been to this restaurant in our 4 years of living here. Since it was part of restaurant week and their special menu looked good, we decided to try it. Well, we were not disappointed. The amuse bouche of horseradish, cucumber and fresh salmon was so tasty. For the appetizer, my husband had the calamari and I had the crab dip. Both were excellently prepared and delicious. For the main course, we both had the Steak Frite. Normally I don't like my meat less cooked, but the medium rare on the steak was just the way it should be. We were too full for dessert and took it home. The cookies which we had today were great and the tres leche cheesecake should be a regular item on the menu as it is so light and creamy. Ruby our server was extremely knowledgeable about the food and the wines. Besides she had a nice perky personality and managed the entire dining room orders on her own, which was a feat itself as there were at least 8-10 tables. All in all, we did not expect much and came out of the restaurant saying that it is a place that we must frequent more often! Notes to those who want to go - dinner is only on Friday and Saturday evenings. Also, Parking is a bit of a challenge so recommend to park SOUTH of the restaurant nearer the CIVIC Center and walk a few blocks. With all the yummy food, you'll need the walk anyhow :)

The service by a nice young guy who was probably working his first day in a restaurant. Coffee in addition to being as weak as dishwater, was not refilled until the third request. The food was totally unremarkable and not worth a return visit

Errol First my apologies that your experience was not to our norm. While it was not his first day, it was his first day back after break. It takes a while to get their focus back, which is my challenge and should not have been yours. The coffee, I don't know. We went through many pots that day and had no other complaints. Again, my problem, not yours. As far as the food, kind of disagree with you there unless there was a specific problem. The soups are top notch, including the Brunswick stew that I make personally and have for many years. The breakfast biscuit is excellent - I had one that same day myself. And the onion rings, they are to die for! The Fredo, well, it is a grilled cheese, but it is what it is. Next time you are in town, please give us another try! Michael Higgins

It was a quiet day at this cafe but the staff were incredibly gracious. The Southern Waldorf salad with grilled fruit, goat cheese and candied pecans was delicious. My husband enjoyed his Applewood thick sliced panini with avocados as well. We shared a warm, flaky cinnamon roll that melted in your mouth. Since they were about to close, they gifted us a dessert of warm blueberry crumble and lemon cake. We can’t wait to return!
