    We had a booth which was lovely. Had to wait on the server for some time however, once she greeted us everything was spot on from that point. The food was absolutely sensational and cooked to perfection! I had the NY strip steak cooked medium, with jumbo shrimp added. My wife had the stuffed salmon. Our smoked old fashioned cocktails were also delicious. My favorite restaurant in Lynchburg by far.

    Staff was confused as to who was responsible for what table. And at conclusion of dinner no one came to clear the table for a very very very long time.

    The chef refused to cook my lamb chops to well done, which I have never had a problem in any other restaurant. So I did not get to order what I wanted on the menu. The food was sub-par at best. One of the waitresses seemed rude.

    A beautiful dining area and very lively . In the beginning our server was super friendly and efficient. Once our order was in we barely saw her. We had some issues with what we ordered not coming out right and had to get someone else to fix it. Next time I order salad it would be dressing on the side, it was drowning in dressing but the taste was great. Our filets came out overcooked but driving 12 hours that day we just ate it. Very tender as a filet should be but average. I would go back though. They were just slammed . So many things on the menu we would like to try when we come back through.....

    Wonderful place to meet up with friends! We met @ W&H for the first time on December 19, 2023, so naturally we went this year on December 19. And, you guessed it, plan to go on December 19, 2025!! Stephanie, our waitress, actually recognized us!! She was so attentive, personable and accommodating!! We lacked for nothing!! Wonderful atmosphere, excellent waitstaff and delicious food. Until next year - - - -
