   Having walked past Wildfire many times before, I can't believe that I have not been before. A perfect evening for date night dinner - great food, wine and amazing service! Caitlin who was managing the whole room by herself was exceptional - caring, attentive, and managed to keep all tables well served and with a personal touch too. We will definitely be back again soon

   All credit to the front of house staff who handled everything with skill and warmth. The food was also fantastic - the cullen skink was creamy and delicious, the fillet steak beautifully tender and perfectly cooked. & the Basque cheesecake, light. A small, lovely restaurant - we would definitely eat there again.

   In Edinburgh for the weekend and very glad we were recommended Wildfire. Unprepossessing from outside, it has a relatively small and simple but cosy interior and a good atmosphere. The service was excellent - friendly, timely, and good humoured. The food was of a very high standard - we had fish, seafood, and meat between us and all were delicious. Very well cooked and generous portions. The scallops, steaks, and mussels were all very good. Also a good and reasonably priced wine list and cheese board. One of those meals you get all to rarely these days - high quality ingredients cooked very well and unpretentiously. Thanks for a great night.

   Lovely place with lots of atmosphere. Good location in central Edinburgh. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Wine was good and again a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely come again when I’m in Edinburgh.

   Lovely meal, tasty, well cooked and presented. Service first class with warm welcome and attentiveness. The waitress took an interest in our reason for being there (going to the Van Morrison concert) which was apt as she was Irish. The food was truely excellent, smoked salmon starter and sea bass fillets to follow, could not fault anything. My Wife thought the same for her king prawn starter and chicken main dish. We were early so the place was empty, but was getting busy as we left. Thoroughly recommended if you are in Edinburgh.

   Delicious food and such a cute cozy restaurant. The staff was very nice The mussels and chowder and Brocette were great. Good find .

   Absolutely fantastic again! It’s our go to place when we visit Edinburgh. I go for cullen skink and rib eye steak every time. Steaks and side dishes are all delicious. It was lovely to be recognised as a “regular” this time too
