Wild is a small restaurant and wine bar in the regional centre of Castlemaine.
We aim to bring you the best of the regions produce and beverages in a friendly and professional environment.
Our menu is based around sharing plates and we can cater to the single diner through to large groups.
In addition to the tables available online we have outdoor tables for casual walk-ins.

    Lovely atmosphere in an old fire station. Great selection of food, with some vegetarian options if needed. Friendly staff. Good value. Extensive drinks selection. Sadly no coffee machine.

    Beautiful food in a comfortable and beautifully lit space. Great menu- we would have eaten it all if we could! Wines were terrific and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

    Such a beautiful meal in a gorgeous space. It was bustling but not too noisy. Food, drinks and service were all perfect - highly recommend.

    Really nice venue, great old facade with beautiful structural timbers a feature inside. The renovation makes great use of the old fire station. The decor is nice however the upholstery is very tired and stained which is a little off putting for the price of the experience. The food is “fine”, simple though a little underwhelming. Good selection of wines and delicious spritzes. Service was good.

    The setting is great, service great. We were somewhat disappointed that there were only four choices of main meals and very under proportioned for value.
