   Wonderful experience at Wild Bear Tavern! We went there for dinner, and the food & service were excellent. It's definitely a must try while visiting Pigeon Forge!

   It was ok. The table was dirty when we sat down. The food was pretty good although I've had better German. The potato pancakes were outstanding as was the apple strudel, although it wasn't traditional strudel. The red cabbage was OK but needed more flavor. The traditional schitzel wasn't traditional as it was not breaded but was tasty if not a little too salty. It was a little overcooked with lots of darker than desired sear on the bottom. The server was very good and did the best she could do with very little help. I find that most restaurants in Pigeon Forge are very average. It seems they cater to tourists and know they won't be back. It's a constant stream of new people who are very easily impressed.

   Food was decent/good. Service was excellent. Smell from the restrooms wafting into the entire restaurant- gross.

   It’s difficult to find good, authentic German dishes, but Wild Bear did not disappoint. Our server Billy was gracious, funny, friendly, and helped make the dinner experience even more enjoyable. My only complaint is that their selections do German plates was somewhat limited, with just one Schnitzel selection (with two options of lemon or jager topping), and just 3-4 other main dish choices. The servings were quite reasonably sized, and the food was hot. We would recommend this restaurant for a great German dinner experience!

   Joshua was a wonderful, funny waiter. My German mom loved the food and we did too. Everything was delicious. The apple strudel dessert was decadent. Highly recommend this place.

   The food was tasty BUT what I really wanted - they were out (3:15 in the afternoon - REALLY 😳) the pork shank meal !! The schnitzel was a little dry - thank God we ordered it with mushroom gravy. Good mashed potatoes and sauerkraut !!

    One of the only German restaurants in the area. The food was excellent. The service was a bit slow - they appeared to be understaffed. Overall, a good experience. We would go back.
