   We have been wanting to visit this place for years. Finally made it happen. We were not disappointed! Delicious food. Hard working, friendly staff. Tony is great! They do need to update their in-house menu to reflect what is actually available. We will be back!

   Very overpriced for the quality of food, which was mediocre at best. $5.00 for a sweet tea? $20 for a burger. The main reason we went there was for the Shank which they told us was no longer available. Our server told us they were famous for their Burgers, so my husband ordered it. Tasted like rubber. Zero flavor. Like frozen patties. He didn't even finish half of it. I ordered the schnitzel. Dry. I ate less than 25%. Spent over $200 and left hungry. I'm sure it was once good back in its hay day, but I would not recommend, too many other options available locally.

   We had breakfast at the Wild Bear Tavern on December 29, 2024. It was a cute, clean, little cabin-style restaurant with German decor and wasn't very busy when we showed up around 9:00 am. The server was great and it wasn't a long wait for our food. The food was average - basically an American breakfast with a bratwurst on the plate. It was not seasoned in any special way to make it German, or even good American for that matter. The eggs were okay, potatoes were plain, unseasoned, cubed potatoes, and the bratwurst seemed to have an odd flavor to it. The biscuits and gravy had good biscuits with bland, flavorless, white gravy. Overall, the food lacked flavor, was not good quality, and they served fake butter. This is a place to go if you just need some fuel. With all the other competition in the area, the Wild Bear Tavern is at the bottom of my list.

   Great staff, great food! Prices are great too. Family friendly and will definitely be back.

   Great restaurant with delicious German food. We had the BEST server (I think his name was Enrique) who was attentive and super friendly. We would definitely go back.

   The server was very cordial and friendly. Food was served HOT (good)! We really enjoyed the potato pancakes!

    The service was outstanding. The schnitzel, mashed potatoes were very good and the pork shank was absolutely hands down delicious. However the potato salad was incredibly mustardy and the sauerkraut was dry and more sour that it should be. The potatoes served with the pork shank were undercooked. Overall I was disappointed and I wouldn’t go back for the price.
