We had a wonderful dinner at Wife and the Somm-highly recommend. Charcuterie is wonderful. Branzino is incredible? And we very much enjoyed the duck and the pasta special with pork and lamb. Wine was wonderful. Pleasant dinner, lovely location and absolutely delicious. We will be back!

We are regulars. We love this restaurant. However, last night parking was extremely difficult so I dropped my husband off in order to be on time for our reservation/within the 15 minute grace period and they would not allow him to be seated. Parking is difficult there and I would’ve preferred not to walk down a dark street alone, but I couldn’t find anything close by…. So, he stood and waited for me at the reception desk while I spent 10 minutes looking for a spot and 10 minutes walking to the restaurant. The food is wonderful. The service is outstanding. But I was not pleased with the way we were handled us, especially considering there were tables available. I believe they need to rethink their policy about seating people.

We love this place. Have been several times. This was our first time on the patio, and I think I’ll request to sit out there in the future.

Went for Valentine’s Day and was impressed with the prompt and attentive service. Loved the nightly specials and enjoyed the wine pairings suggested by the sommelier. Most of the food was excellent, but some of the sides we wouldn’t reorder. Excited to come back to this cute neighborhood spot!

The front of the house staff did not honor my reservation with OpenTable and tried to make me wait 45 min, they also tried to put my party at the bar or outside. Disappointing. Not coming back.

We arrived for our revised reservation of 5:30pm. I called on Wednesday 2/5/25 to change it from 5pm to 5:30pm. upon arrival we were told that the reservation was at 5pm. I explained to host the situation. We were sat down then 5 minutes later were told the manager was moving us to the bar area and now would have 1hr 45 minutes to eat. When I spoke with the manager about the situation the hostess right away came up to us. She started arguing with her manager in front of us why we can’t eat in the dining area. I told them it was rude for them to argue about where to sit us down to eat. They didn’t offer anything to accommodate us for their mistake. We decided to leave. Instead we ate at the Arbor in Pasadena where their manager right away found a place for us to sit at the bar to enjoy drinks appetizers while waiting for our a new reservation I had to make at Nicks of Pasadena to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. Thank you for being rude and making us feel not welcomed. It allowed us to realize that we will never go back to your restaurant and we have taken to social media to inform everyone what horrible customer service you have!!!!!

Did DineLA. Was all delicious and beautifully presented. We added the Basque cheesecake which was amazing. Service was gracious and the sommelier helped us pick a great wine

Overall it was a pleasant experience We did the Dine LA menu with the $20 wine flight and tried all the desserts The good: Chicory salad, the pork belly, the halibut and the jerk chicken. If you are a big fan of polenta then the semolina is a good choice. Otherwise go with the pork The cheesecake was, hands down, the best dessert but the crème brûlée was also tasty. The other two were OK We were surprised that the conventional beverage list was limited(no tea or coffee) but we adapted just fine. The service was excellent and the sommelier enhanced the dining experience The ambiance was a plus. It’s a fun place . The big question: would we come back? Absolutely.
