   Booked a meal for me and my wife everything was great just had some bad luck with staff calling in sick. The food was very tasty and great value for money

   Had a Valentine Day meal with wife and daughter. I went for Prawn Cocktail, Pie and Mash and Apple Crumble while wife had humous and half chicken. Daughter had steak and sticky toffee pudding. The food was good and we didn't have any issues with them. But it's didn't look very busy for a Valentine Day night and I have to say it was half empty even though they were telling us it was fully booked. Also tables were not being cleared away as one table next to us was not cleared during the entirety of our meal. The pub looks to be a bit in disrepair with cobwebs in the dining hall and the toilet definitely needing a deep clean. For God sake put some bleach in the cistern. My wife enjoyed our evening and she recommended this restaurant on a previous visit but she said she won't come back again. Think this place needs another refurb or it will be closed again.

   Lovely couple taken over this pub in november 2024 and can honestly say what lovely people and the food was so lovely too , HIghley recommended to visit and try and we will be back too

   Great food and service. There was a little extra noise due to a quiz, but not so much that we couldn't continue our conversation and the diners were placed so we also didn't disrupt the quiz. Will definitely return.

    I went to white lion for a meal with friends for a birthday treat. what a welcome reception we received. The staff couldn't of been more helpful and the food was well cooked and very tasty. I would recommend white lion to have a lovely meal and relaxed atmosphere. Keep up the good work
