   We arrived for a 6.45pm table on a Saturday night. Already one of the mains was sold out and we were told that there were only one portion each left, of two other dishes. One diner had chops, it came as a plate of meat only. That is not a meal. We totally understand the way now that you are expected to pay for sides but a plate with just chops? We also ordered 2 burgers and one vegan burger. These came on small plates with no salad on plate. Looked very unappetising. We paid over £200 in total with wine. Won’t be rushing back.

   We attended tghe recently instigated "curry night" because since having new management the cost of meals on the main menu is too high for us to enjoy eating there and this seemed a more affordable option. The curries were O.K. but not special and there were only two options, chicken & lamb, available on the advertised weekly "curry night". Cost of chicken bhuna, £17, and lamb rogan josh, £18, was expensive -came with papadum &, mango chutney but extremely small portions of rice. Service was very friendly making it a pleasant experience. When we commented on small portion of rice they said we could have had more if we had asked but not sure if we would have been charged as all sides are priced separately on the menu. Sadly, with new management, gone are the days when locals could afford to eat there regularly and leave feeling well-fed.

   Sunday lunch with family. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent - a great lunch with our group having all 4 Sunday Lunch options, all were really good. Cosy pub with a blazing fire very welcoming, particularly after a cold and windy walk on the beach !

   Wow what a delightful night after a very cold miserable week to end up in this beautiful warm and friendly place the perfect tonic! Food and drink were all delicious and not crazy prices. A definite go back to restaurant and pub!

   Very quiet evening- Monday in November is to be expected. Venue is lovely, looks recently refurbished or refreshed. We were made very welcome by their team, service was good. Food was fresh and hot with some good choices. Quality was excellent. Value fir money also. Many thanks to the team.

   We booked lunch for 4 weeks ago as we read about the reopening earlier this year, we live in South Wales and only wish we had the wonderful choice of places to eat like the North Norfolk Coast, Lunch was superb, well presented and delicious ,the welcome we got was excellent and he quickly noticed that the table wobbled and fixed it, all the staff who took order and drinks were so friendly and professional, it made our day after a wonderful walk on Holme Beach We had not been to Holme for over 40 years, we used to know it very well, it was a perfect visit , including the gentleman who helped us with the paint colour of the woodwork!Thank you
