White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

    Dining out on New Year's Eve can be risky, as it is so busy sometimes the food and service is not up to par. However, our experience at the the White Dog Cafe, Chester Springs was quite the opposite. Everything was terrific...the service, the food and holiday decorated rooms were perfect. We didn't feel rushed, our server was very attentive, and as usual the food was hot and tasty. Despite the intense thunder and lightning the lights stayed on...a perfect night!

    Great spot, ambiance, beverages, menu. Some dishes fantastic, others need a little help. Not sure if it’s kitchen execution or something else. But wont stop us from coming back, at least for a nice lunch or cocktails.

    The food was excellent. Service was good. Noise level was very loud, especially from the table next to ours. Extremely busy for dinner on the 30th, First time at White Dog. We will come back again.

    Very nice place for a family dinner! Onion soup was delicious as well as the goat cheese whipped ricotta. For entrees, the steak and Meadow Run Farm Lamb Shank were fabulous. Our wine choice didn’t meet our expectations. We will go back when we’re close to Exton. 🙂

    Love White Dog in Chester Springs. The setting is beautiful, interior design is spectacular and the food , atmosphere and waitstaff is superior! Each area is cozier than the next. Don’t miss out on this!

    First time at the restaurant. We just happened upon it while driving. We enjoyed it very much and love the decor, food and service. Planning on bringing family back soon.
