White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

    I am concerned that my credit card was not charged for the total amount including the tip. I called and was told the tip would be charged to my card in several days. That does not seem appropriate.

    We had a wonderful experience. It exceeded all of our expectations. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Can’t wait to try eating in each of their unique and fabulous rooms and patio area.

    Made reservations and requested a quiet out of the way table. We were seated at a postage stamp size table in the threshold between the dining room and bar! As far as the menu, had to ask if they served anything vegetarian. Manager apologized and offered a free dessert. No thank you!

    Had a great meal! First time being there under the new white dog name. I will definitely eat here again. Just a little chilly at the window with a two seater table in the back room, where we sat. That made it a little bit more difficult to enjoy the experience fully since we were cold. I do believe our server did turn up the heat a bit for us. Thanks!! To be fair, the seasons are changing and temps dropped recently, and it was raining and windy. The food was amazing and the place is beautiful, despite being cold near that one window, I would definitely enjoy a meal here again.
