Tried Whiskey Ridge for the first time last night, and it was great! There were a few little glitches with getting seated and with one of our orders, but the staff was super friendly and we didn't mind. Excellent frozen margarita (maybe the best I've had?). I liked my salad and my husband and son ate every bit of their chicken fried chicken. Huge portions, so order accordingly. And it looks like reservations will be a must for this place - at least on weekends. It was packed! Kudos for the ample parking. All around great experience, excited to go back.

It's so exciting to have new upscale restaurants in Driftwood and not have to go all the way downtown. The restaurant is nicely designed and all staff were very attentive and friendly. We had the deviled eggs with fried oysters and chips and guacamole appetizers which were good. My fillet mignon was excellent and cooked medium rare to perfection. The chocolate custard was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to returning and trying more items on the menu.

We tried to try it all! We’ll be back! Appetizers, Entrees & Sides were outstanding! The Main Dining Hall is spacious & the Patio looked very inviting! Well staffed!

A very well thought out and executed menu. Every dish is flavorful and presented beautifully. Service is attentive with an eye for little details. I wanted to recognize Carlos for his attention to detail and high level of service provided. The entire experience is high end food, drink, and service in a comfortable Hill Country setting.

We loved our experience at Whiskey Ridge! The food, ambiance, and friendly Texas hospitality were all on point. We tried a variety of items on the menu, but my favorite was the deviled eggs with fried oysters - yum! So good! My Dad said the gumbo was some of the best he's ever tasted. All of our entrees were delicious as well. Whiskey Ridge is our new go-to for special occasions. We're so glad to have such a great restaurant close by. Be sure to make a reservation, because it was packed.

Great food. Everyone ordered something different (5 adults and 2 toddlers). Perfect sides for littles (green beans, french fries). Service was excellent. We will be back.

Atmosphere is very nice inside. The noise level across the large tables made it hard to hear what my friends were saying. The guys in our group had the burgers. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp. Another had the sole fish. Guys said the burgers had no seasoning and they wouldn’t come back for it. Fries were the same. My shrimp had good flavor but a lot of the shell was still on when they wrapped it with bacon. Shrimp were good sized. I found the shareable vegetables very limiting for a complete meal. None of us were enticed by what was on the menu. Out of a need for something, we selected green beans, which were over cooked. The best things on the menu was the Calamari appetizer It was outstanding! Best thing ever ! Another outstanding dish was the Wimberly salad. Definitely something I must come back to the restaurant for! It is so fresh tasting that I purchased another salad to take home for the next day!
