   If you want to imagine visiting a Parisian Bistro try Viola French Bistro in Scottsdale! My wife and I have visited Voila several times. This time we took a friend and once again it was fabulous. I had the duck confit, my wife had the sole and our friend had what she deemed "the best scallops ever". Of course they have delicious French wine. I had a glass of Bordeaux chosen by our server to pair with the duck. The women had a champagne I hadn't heard of before Legras & Hass and it was delicious. Of course the desserts are wonderful. This time we had the Le Coeur (Tonka bean, pear, hazelnut) and Le Citron (lemon). WOW! Do yourself a favor and get spoiled by the cusine and service at Voila French Bistro. You'll enjoy it!

   We enjoyed a wonderful meal and dining experience here. This is an authentic French bistro featuring all of your favorite French fare; a rare find in metro Phoenix. The owners are French, and they are very warm and lovely. If you like French desserts, you must visit. The restaurant has an in-house French trained pastry chef who offers a large selection of desserts you wont find anywhere else in Arizona. We definitely recommend dining outside. Unlike most al fresco seating in the city where you’re basically eating in a parking lot, the restaurant does a great job creating a warm, comfortable space where you feel liking you’re dining in a European plaza.

   Don’t waste your money at this place. A $40 entree just includes 2 shrimp, 1 scallop, 2 mussels, a 2inch x 2inch cod, a similar size salmon and 3 mini potatoes. The salmon is fishy and the other seafoods are just taste ok. The taste and portion don’t make it worth the money. The red wine chicken stew cost $30 but only includes ~7pieces of chicken. If you don’t care about the price and are willing to eat some very moderate French cuisine, just ignore my comments and go for it.

   We were for a birthday celebration and also Valentine’s day, but I consider us being regular clients. We love the personalized approach, the attention and suggestions that every client benefits when dining here. Sandrine was so kind to text me to confirm that dining outside was ok while the inside are was full for Valentine’s day. And I do not regret the decision to accept. They covered the patio area in a way wind or rain could not bother you and the heaters did a great job maintaining a cozy temperature. Evey detail was carefully put in place, from live roses and a huge bouquet in the middle, to the colored lamps and soft background music. We loved every minute and all dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Perhaps the octopus was the only one I did not fancy, but everything else was a delight of taste. Well, if you expect your plate to be full of meats you have to go to black angus. This is a place where you come to experience flavors and three course meal will fill you just just right without overwhelning your digestive system. But ai gues that is a matter of taste. We love, love, love this restaurant! Sandrine and her team are doing an awsome job promiting the French cuisine in a city where such an experience is hard to find.

    We had the most incredible dinner at Viola French Bistro last evening. There is nothing like the escargots there. We also had the Chevre et Saumon Fume as our other appetizer. So flavorful! We then both had La Choucroute for the main entree. It was a variety of seafood on sauerkraut with a Riesling sauce. Unbelievable to me, the sauerkraut was an excellent complement to the fresh seafood. Deserts were beyond our expectations. The staff was warm and welcoming. We have been to Paris several times and this restaurant exceeds any restaurant we have been to there. Can't wait to go back
