   The food was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. Taste is subjective, but I felt like this was one of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had.

   The pasta, salad, and zuppe di toscana were all amazing quality—so delicious! We will definitely be back. Sadly the tiramisu was disappointing (no discernible coffee—just cream and sugar), and the drinks were underwhelming. Service was fantastic and location and decor are great, really charming. Worth future visits, to be sure.

   This is always a destination when we have friends or family visiting Indy from out of town. The menu is very well balanced, where it will appease almost all interests. I have yet to have a bad item off the menu, or experience a bad time. The staff, Chef and Management are always moving with intention. The ambiance is relaxing, yet I find myself always looking around to notice the little details. The value of the menu pricing is exactly what it should be. And if you're an espresso martini lover, be sure to order the Baristo. Truly the best in the city.

   The food was okay. This was the second time I had been and it was definitely better the first time. I remember the chicken was phenomenal the first time, but that’s not what I got this time so that was my mistake. Maybe it was because we went during devour? You would think with more people out they’d want to showcase how good I know they are.

   We needed to have a tasty dinner ahead of going to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s performance tonight. Our server, Katie, totally understood and accommodated our whims. We had a delicious wine, great food and outstanding service. AND, we got out on time.

   We meet another couple every other month and select a restaurant we haven't tried before. Anya took great care of us and answered our questions about drinks and food. Our favorites were the calamari, zuppa toscana, pesto chicken with gnocchi, spiced pear puff pastry, and Italian old fashioned. Everything was flavorful. Dishes were served with ample time between courses. We did not feel rushed but Anya checked on us often to make sure we had all we needed. We will definitely be returning to Vicinis!

    Food was great! Service a little slow for a Thursday night. Tables were so close together I could hear everyone’s personal conversations and had to move my chair several times to let people through.
