I really wanted this dinner to be incredible and was looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately, the amount of salt that on the salmon entree and the asparagus was astounding and we couldn’t eat it. Our server was attentive and even noticed he could “see the salt” on the asparagus. It was enough that I had to spit it out into my napkin. The server said he would make the kitchen aware of the issue. The fish dip and the crab au gratin apps were okay, not good enough to bring me back.

What a gem! The building is stunning! What a fantastic space! The food was outstanding. We had a large group and everything we had was great! If I lived in the area I would eat here all the time! Highly recommend!

The seared salmon Caesar salad was tasty, but they omitted the croutons. I had to ask for this essential ingredient listed on the menu. Waitstaff busy talking instead of working.

Cool place to check out but food is a little pricey so prepare to spend money if you are eating more than just the entree. Friendly staff and good service.

Our experience at Vessel Nola was exceptional. The service was outstanding, the ambiance was incredible and I would have to say that the meals we had were beautifully presented and delicious. This restaurant was recommended to me by my nephew who visited this restaurant approximately a year ago. He highly praised Vessel and it certainly did not disappoint. We will be returning again very soon.

Vessel is an absolute must for locals and anyone visiting New Orleans! The food, craft cocktails and service are nothing short of exceptional. The owners have crafted an atmosphere that is absolutely gorgeous repurposing an historic church in mid-city. It is both warm and inviting, making every visit a memorable experience. From start to finish, everything about this restaurant is top-notch. It is truly a dining experience you can't miss!

Our three course Thanksgiving dinner ($70 a plate)was poorly executed at every turn and not good. At all. We both had the corn and crab bisque, which was excellent but 80°. At the risk of being a Karen we sent ours back politely, and 20 minutes later an only slightly warmer bowl of half the volume was returned. The turkey, cornbread dressing, and sweet potato mash was cafeteria quality, with the cornbread dressing and sweet potatoes being especially poor. The turkey was nicely brined and thankfully had salt because the other two components did not. The sweet potato mash resembled baby food. The third course, the sweet potato pie, was grainy with poor crust and 1 teaspoon of orange cream on the side that was not nearly sufficient. Overall this was a major letdown on an out of town holiday. On the plus side it was a super cool venue and our waiter was kind. and that is why we gave two stars instead of one. I still thought about giving one star due to the incredible scarcity of gravy on our plates and the fact that it Already developed a skin on it from being cold like everything we were served.

Our experience wasn’t the best. We participated with the Thanksgiving meal, it wasn’t very crowded but took an extremely long time. All food was closer to room temperature than warm. The meal wasn’t served as advertised, with food missing. We were brought the check before the end of the meal. It was just all subpar for a restaurant that supposedly has a good reputation, which was disappointing for it being Thanksgiving and at that price point. The only really good thing is the unique environment- it’s a beautiful old church that has been excellently renovated.

Can not say enough good things about our dinner at Vessel. My wife and I went while on vacation for Thanksgiving Dinner. They had a three course fixed menu. Every course was Delicious. The pork was Phenomenal. Cooked to Perfection and was so tender. The drinks were strong and flavorful. Our server Ben was Fantastic. He was working Thanksgiving, yet was cheerful, prompt, and a pleasure to talk to. For being busy it was not overly loud and had a Great selection of background music playing. Last but not least, the restaurant was stunning! The Old Church was so Beautiful and the Bar was so neatly designed. Will absolutely be back when in town
