I do not know why we waited so long to go to the Velvet Tango Room! The ambiance is classic and cozy. The small plates are not that small and they were delicious. We had the Smoked Salmon Platter and the Charcuterie Board - excellent. Jaxs was our mixologist and the Chartreuse drinks were excellent as well as the other drinks that were carefully and artistically created. We look forward to our next visit and we will not wait this long next time!

I generally love the Velvet Tango Room, but I was a bit disappointed with the service. It is is always slow, but only because they make their cocktails so lovingly. But this time, two drinks never got ordered. After asking a couple of times, they finally delivered the drinks, and said they would comp them due to the excessive delay. But since they insisted we pay with a single check, a real inconvenience, we only discovered later after sorting out the bill that they did not comp the two drinks. I know that the venue was extremely busy, but I expect better from such a classy establishment.

Such a cool place! The menu is huge. The server can give you awesome recs based on what spirit you like.

We had an early reservation and opted to sit outside, in the back given the lovely weather. Bennett took good care of us and we had a few cocktails, enjoying the outdoors all to ourselves for the entire time we were there. Nice job folks, thanks for taking good care of me and Ava. If we get back to Cleveland we'll definitely make our way back!

Such a great time! We had a reservation for my birthday and we were running late due to dinner and they held my reservation for us! We were seated directly next to the jazz trio and it was great! Highly recommend!

Awesome cocktail lounge bar. I highly recommend (for bourbon lovers) the Final Word - made with Booker bourbon. Great atmosphere and live music!

First time visiting, excellent cocktails and service. Made a reservation, but wanted to hear HH music in the front of the house (reservations are for back of the house, did not know), they were very accommodating when we asked to move. Great jazz trio, love to come back for the patio or speakeasy.

We loved our visit to VTR. We visited a number of other cocktail bars while in Cleveland and this was the favourite by far. Our bartender, Alex, was amazing. Favourite cocktails of the evening were Thunder Moon (this was favourite of the trip), La Niña and Summer Club. We would definitely return if we ever found ourselves back in Cleveland.
