   I have heard so many good things about this restaurant, however was extremely disappointed with our dinner. I had made a booking for our work Christmas party for 12 people at 7:30pm. When we arrived at 7:22pm, they had to double check that they had room for us, which I had already confirmed twice, once by email and once by text message. We did a group order and had ours drinks missed, 1 entree missed and then my wife had her main forgotten about. My wife had already mentioned to the waiter that she was missing her meal and he told her he will go sort it out, which was great. However when he came back he brought the wrong meal up. Once promopted to the right meal he then confirmed it had been missed. After waiting an additional 15 minutes and everyone else was finished eating we decided to cancel the my Wife’s meal and not worry about it as everyone else had finished. We then went to talk to the staff to get a refund for the missed meal and entree to which they needed to get the manager, the manager didn’t acknowledge us for about 10 minutes whilst he sent staff backwards and forth asking what was our problem to relay back to the manager. Finally the manager came over to us and told us we couldn’t get a refund as everyone else had gotten their meals however he could give us a gift card to come back again and have a better experience. I then stated but we didn’t even receive all our meals. Finally in the end we got a refund of $37 and got given a $25 gift card. It really felt as though it was too hard for the manager to understand what our problem was.

   The staff were very helpful when it started to rain by moving us indoors. Good was wonderful

   Pasta was a tad chewy on first bite and the further I ate into it the harder the pasta got until it was un-enjoyable, we were seated upstairs in front of the bar and our drinks sat on the bench waiting to be brought over for 23 minutes before I had to get up and ask to grab them, table was still dirty from previous customers.

   The food here used to be amazing. My pasta was probably the worst pasta I’ve ever had at a restaurant. However, the service was great. My complaint was handled very well and I was offered a new meal. The new meal was fair, but I ate it without further complaint. The ambience was wonderful. Shame about the quality of the pasta. The chiefs just need a cooking lesson in how to cook pasta properly and also how to make good Italian sauce.

   Table was for 16. Family birthday celebration We were initially seated across 2 tables Food came out some cold. Some not at all Kids ate after all adults had eaten The only retribution was a desert. Poor service Average food Truly unorganised staff

   Food was great although one of the diners only received 2 prawns in his prawn pasta dish, otherwise very nice.
