   Great experience at Umbria. Our waitress was top notch and the meals were great. Pasta portion was a bit small but overall would recommend. Not much “ambiance” on the first floor which was something open table asks for a review of - so I guess it’s lacking but I’m there to eat not look at the walls.

   Everything was great. Only recommendation would be to add a side cup of marinara sauce with the veal parmesan. Dish needed a bit more sauce. Portion was huge! ( loved it!)

   Service was terrible. Took over 15-20 min to get drinks and they never checked on our food for any of our courses. I was disappointed because my friends recommended I go

    Disappointing night at Umbria. First the "doorman" came right up to my face like it was Studio 54 1979 and I was trying to sneak in. He was pleasant but there was not grace or elan. Service: Fair at best but it was a busy Saturday night so I'll cut some slack. I had to ask for bread a couple times. We ordered a side dish with never arrived. Food: Seafood Fra Diavlo: Sauce was flat and had no depth. Shrimp were tiny and tasteless. There was supposed to be some white fish (cod?) which was not in there at all. This was not Umbria quality nor what I would expect from a Depasquale restaurant. I will think twice before returning. There is far better food in the North End.
