We came back in Feb of '25 and were ecstatic that the menu had been updated since we were there last in Aug. of '24. It was FANTASTIC. Between the plum wine, a warm sake, cocktails, and 18-course meal, we were in heaven. Can't wait until August to return!

I took my husband here for his birthday, it was an incredible experience. All of the food and bites were delicious and unique, the service was wonderful, I especially loved talking to the chefs and sommelier. I was surprised that drinks were not included in the price. For the amount, I would expect (some) drinks to be thought of or included, we don't usually go to high-end places like this so maybe that just isn't common. But overall a wonderful experience I would say we would come back but maybe when we have the time and money again.

The bartender was insanely smug! He was condescending, elitist and egotistical. He literally asked my friend and I if we’ve ever been to “a nice bar.” If I’m paying $500+, I expect for the staff, serving me, to NOT treat me with such disrespect. Especially for a mediocre cocktail. That said, the chef and sous chef, even the hostess, were top notch. The food was SENSATIONAL and I’d recommend it to anyone. But not gonna lie, the bartender ruined the night. TBD on if I ever return. The staff at Uchi would never and it’s much more affordable for those of us who spend time outside a “nice bar”.

An Instagram over hyped experience that really misses the mark. The cost to treat my wife and I to something built up to be a night to remember became a several hundred-dollar let down…really bummed.

Intimate experience is very unique and cool, but for the price tag, I’d much rather go elsewhere. I would expect every single dish to be completely outstanding for that kind of experience and price, but this was not the case. I would say half the food was great, but half was only very ok. For such an experience, I’d also think the chef would engage with the customers more and everything felt very rushed. Maybe less courses, but have each one be completely outstanding? And a brief break between courses would have been nice. Or have that price also include a wine pairing or sake pairing. Was over $600 total for 2 of us with drinks - I would hope to be blown away for that price, and was not.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. While we’re glad you enjoyed some aspects of the evening, we’re sorry it didn’t fully meet your expectations. Your suggestions are incredibly helpful, and we’ll use them to improve the experience. Thank you again for giving us a try, and we hope you’ll consider joining us in the future to see how we’ve grown.
