   Uchi used to be our favorite place. We’ve eaten there about 7 times. The last 2 visits (last week) were disappointing. The food is definitely not exceptional as it once was. Everything we had was bland - the rice pot was burnt on the bottom. The tempura shrimp roll tasted like a watered down spring roll , the server forgot to bring us some items ordered. We were there twice last week and both meals were overpriced for the value and overall an underwhelming experience, unfortunately. We won’t be back.

   We had the best experience sitting at the sushi bar. The chefs were very informative and gave great recommendations. The wait staff also was amazing. Our water glasses were never empty and the dishes were removed promptly. I cannot wait to return!!

    My daughter and I have been wanting to try Uchi for awhile but our schedules prevented it. Oh my gosh, what a truly pleasant surprise. The ambiance, service, and entire upbeat staff made our dining experience a true "5". The food combos are so creative and tasty and the fish is the freshest that I have ever had at a sushi/ Japanese restaurant. We can not wait to return for another amazing food experience. It is really nice to go to a restaurant and not walk out feeling somewhat cheated by the food or the price or the service. Well done!
