The award-winning Uchi, which translated from Japanese means “home,” was first opened in Austin, Texas by James Beard Award winner Chef Tyson Cole. Since then, Cole’s signature non-traditional take on Japanese cuisine has been warmly received by visitors from across the country and around the globe. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

    I've eaten ALOT of sushi in my life in many different places. This is by far THE best sushi I have ever eaten. It's fresh, creative, delectable and interesting. It is an adventure for the taste buds. I am impressed by the level of care and service that is consistently displayed in every interaction. If you are in Denver (I think they have one in Miami) make it a point to go here. Don't wait until the last minute. Weekend reservations are not easy. Also make sure you have a high limit credit card. It isn't inexpensive. It's worth every dollar.

    Always an excellent experience at Uchi. Even with all the new restaurants in Denver, we find ourselves always returning to Uchi for our special occasions.

    Omikase is to die for. They accommodate any food allergy or aversion. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

    Happy hour is great deal and every item on the menu is beautifully presented. I will say our server warmed up a lot more once we started ordering off the main menu.
