The space is beautiful - invitingly cozy with modern accents. Excellent quality fish. We enjoyed dining from the a la carte menu. The king salmon, scallop, and live flounder fin were truly delicious and memorable.

My visit happened to be second day from opening. So obviously they need one or two months practice to settle in this new place and sushi only gets better in time for sure. Price point is right compared with Omakase@Barrack and Kiyomi in the city. Good location, I meant finally Georgetown got Omakase option.

I've watched Two Nine build themselves from home visits, to pop ups, and they finally have their brick and mortar. The only thing that remained unchanged is the quality of dishes every time we visit. With every bite you can truly see and taste the thought process and planning into every piece of food. I highly recommend experiencing the seating experience. Not only that but their pick up chirashi, and soon the cafe will open. They will become the number one spot in the DMV area.

Even though still in their pop-up space, the meal was exquisite. The preparation, presentation and uniqueness of the courses made for a memorable meal. Can’t wait for the new establishment!

This is one of the most unique sushi eating experiences! The chef and owner are one of 35 in the country that import directly from Japan. It was incredible and I highly recommend! We will be back when Zach opens up his permanent place!
