   We are a family of 4, with 14 and 12 year old children, we were all blown away by the quality of the food, we had 9 plates from the menu which we shared; we gave every dish full marks, they were simply delicious. Tapas but British style - unique and avoiding imitation but every bit as good as the best Andalusia has to offer and that is high praise. The Kentucky fried artichokes, cod Kiev and lamb belly were particularly memorable along with the moorish sourdough with Cheshire stout and marmite butter - wow! We the shared 4 desserts to finish things off. Not that it detracted from the experience but a window treatment would avoid the view of the express supermarket opposite but do not let that stop anyone enjoying this amazing dining experience. We particularly enjoyed the music which provided the soundtrack for the evening. We felt compelled to thank the chef for what was for us an incredible evening- thank you again!

   Once again another fantastic lunch at Twenty Eight. Amazing service, food gets better every time. Our favourites were the sprouts and the pigs cheek.

   Very pleasant property and ambiance, innovative food, a little expensive at £7 for a tiny plate. Our tap water was forgotten, and there was quite a wait for our single dessert, with no extra plates offered for sharing. Staff were very friendly and busy.

   The small dishes were delicious as usual. An innovative menu as always. My favourite was the artichoke and the fried chicken. My husband really liked the pigs cheek too.

   We had a great time, good selections for meat eaters and vegetarians. We absolutely LOVED the Kentucky artichoke, it tasted amazing, it was creative and I will spend the next week trying to recreate it at home. Also, I didn’t have space for dessert but knew I’d want it later on. The chef found a Tupperware and boxed a portion up for me. I was absolutely overjoyed and now I’m on my way home to eat it. Food and service were top notch, I’d definitely go back and I live 40 miles away

    The quality of the tapas items were amazing if the portion sizes on the meat dish items (not anything else) were on the small side for two people sharing.
