Locally owned upscale-casual restaurant and bar featuring fresh classic American cuisine, including steaks, seafood, specialty salads and sandwiches. Located in the Westlake shopping center at 119th St. and Maple.

Longtime restaurateur, Bryce Kuhn, brings over 14 years of experience to Twelve Restaurant & Bar. Bryce's experience includes 8 years of management with Houston's in Kansas City, Denver, and Los Angeles. Bryce returned to his hometown of Wichita, KS to open and manage the Bonefish Grill. He later opened and served as General Manager of the Newport Grill. Most recently, he was General Manager of the Lakeside Club. Opening Twelve fulfills Bryce's dream to open and operate a neighborhood restaurant serving his hometown friends and families.

The Twelve menu includes several of Bryce's personal favorite dishes including smoked salmon, sweet corn risotto, spinach-artichoke dip, hand-cut steaks, ribs, and fresh seafood.

    We frequent Twelve around once a month. New Years eve was the worst experience we have had at Twelve. Our server was apologizing from the time we sat down and seemed flustered all evening. The main concern is that they ran out of at least 4 items off the menu at the time we ordered. Some of the items are on the everyday menu. How do you run out on New Year's Eve of that many items?? We will be back to try them again because of the history we have there. But that was very disappointing on an evening that should have been a special event.

    Appetizer order was ignored. Garlic potatoes substitute was ignored. Entrees appear to have been premade and reheated. They were delivered surprisingly fast.

    We enjoyed brunch December 15 for my daughter’s birthday. Food was delicious. Our service was outstanding! She made it so much fun! She is truly an asset to Twelve and I hope we can get her again, just sorry I didn’t catch her name. Fun gal wearing a head band!

    The crab cakes were the highlight. The steak frites and prime rib were very good. The au jus tasted very low sodium. The baked potato had no butter so it was very dry. Our waitress was very inattentive and let drinks run dry several times. We had an overall good experience but not what we were hoping for from a restaurant of this caliber or price.

    Thanksgiving at 12 was amazing. The food was fabulous and the service was amazing. Everyone was so considerate and kind and made our holiday special. We appreciate the fact that everyone that worked there today spent their holiday making ours more special. We tried to thank everyone we came into contact with for being there today.  Already planning a return for next year .
