Equally adept at fueling Lido Village-bound shoppers is Tupelo Junction Cafe...the restaurant is true to the funky, Cannery Village side of the town's personality: Cocktails come in mason jars, the coffee mugs are country-style crockery, and the walls display fruit-crate labels as artwork. Everything is made from scratch daily serving Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

This out of the way gem has amazing food. The place appears to be an old home, near the water, but has stone floors and dingy paint inside, but their food is as good as anyone in OC.

The restaurant is in a side neighborhood on Balboa peninsula. The space is as any converted house, a bit small. Our waitress tonight was Heidi. Now this is one smart manager to spot a person with her grace, intelligence, skill at customer service. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and I had the double cut pork chop. Both were well above expectations. The price was a great value for the price. FYI, street parking is what is available for the restaurant. After 6 pm it is free.

Tried this place for the first time with the wife nice tucked in little spot love the atmosphere and the food. Everybody was super friendly. Food was awesome. Will definitely go back.

The food was great, service terrific. Food is made fresh so expect to take your time. Venue is small so while there was a game on, the noise was a little high. I do wish they had a parking lot, but not a reason to skip a visit.
