   Probably not my favorite experience. And I am a huge Tupelo Honey fan.

   Overall food was delicious and served up in a reasonable timeframe. Tipped our waitress but she was very inattentive ; did not refill water, did not clear plates, had to ask multiple times for drinks - not terrible, but could have done the basics.

   I will say, this is my second time eating at this place. The only thing I can seem to point out as far as experience are the servers. Some of them are great as to where others aren't. I think its essential to greet people you are waiting on with a smile and give them an good experience!

   We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t overly crowded or loud. The only reason I am giving a lower rating was because of my food. I ordered the surf and turf. My steak was overcooked and kind of chewy. The seasoning was just kind of “ok”. It wasn’t bad though. It underwhelmed me. My husband ordered the chicken fingers they were really good. One of my daughters got the burger and she said the same as mine, that it is “ok”. Not fantastic, but not bad. Her fries were amazing though. My other daughter got grilled cheese and an additional size of Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese seemed a little on the dry side. I should add that our plates were extremely hot. Which from previous experience as a server typically means the food was sitting under a warmer for too long and probably dried out food out. I was disappointed since I had heard such great things. I would try them again to see if it’s better.

   Made reservations. Arrived and was seated immediately. Took 10 minutes to get drinks. Ordered appetizer of Fried Green Tomatoes on a bed of grits. It was best part of entire experience. It took 1hr and 15 minutes to get main course after sitting and placing order. Food was very subpar for price and had no Southern Flavor. Grits were better with appetizer than with main course ordered. Eggs were burnt for making an omelette. Waffles were soggy and chicken was hard and very dry with no seasoning or flavor. There was more breading on chicken than meat. Mimosas were strong with alcohol, not evenly mixed. If I could give it a zero I would. Brunch was a total bust!

   I took my fiancé here for dinner to celebrate his birthday before our Chris Janson/ Kid Rock concert and it was fabulous! We didn’t have to fight the insane crowds at all the restaurants close to the arena. It wasn’t but a few minutes away, a beautiful setting, and we actually enjoyed a dinner date before our concert over grabbing something quick in chaos. We plan to return for brunch in the near future! Great service, food, and all around vibe.

   Enjoyed everything! Had a group of friends in town from STL and they said they’d come back again for the chicken & waffles with the sweet spicy glaze (I ordered an omelette but next time will get what they had) lol Service was phenomenal and the bartender was outstanding. Thank you!
