Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Tupelo Honey-Frisco impresses with "great food and service" and a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for brunch or lunch. Standout dishes include the "sweet & spicy sriracha chicken" and "fried chicken and waffles." Guests appreciate the friendly staff and delightful drinks. While some note slow service, many vow to return for the "irresistible" Southern flavors.

Had a wonderful Southern lunch with my mom here. We shared biscuits and blueberry jam, which also comes with butter and honey. Then moved onto the incredibly flavorful and crunchy panko crusted fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes rest on a perfectly seasoned bed of goat cheese grits and finished with a roasted red pepper coulis. We then shared the honey dusted fried chicken which is a half chicken and a side. For our side we chose the parmesan rosemary potatoes, which were nice and seasoned as well. The finale was two mini desserts: the banana pudding and the Mississippi mud pie. The mud pie had a delicious prominent mocha flavor and the banana pudding was light and both were topped with whipped cream. All in all, a great lunch!

Food menu changed. It’s more bland than it used to be to be. Drinks weren’t that good. Table of 6 and all felt the same.

The service was great; the food is decent but not amazing. Attention to detail is lacking. I got the morning bowl (which I've had before) and they went overboard on the sauce, and the eggs are supposed to be fried, but they were over easy. There was hardly any bacon. The sweet potato pancake was mushy and undercooked. The waggle with the chicken and waffle is small and kind of pathetic-looking on the plate. It would be nice for them to offer the biscuits in 2, 3, 4 counts, etc. We had 3 in our party and the 2 biscuits aren't quite enough. We sat outside on the cure patio. They could do more to draw people in like perhaps staff the outside bar area. This place has so much potential, and I want to love it.

Food and service have gone down over the last few years. Chicken is dry, biscuits are stodgy. Drinks are so-so, service leaves much to be desired.

Great food and service! Still miss the cauliflower, it was the best thing on your menu! Please take care of Shelby as she is one of the main reasons we keep returning!

Gary, we sure do appreciate you! It means the world to us that you continue to visit and enjoy both the food and service. We hear you on the cauliflower—it was a favorite for many! And don’t worry, we’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Shelby. She’s truly a gem, and we’re lucky to have her! Looking forward to welcoming you back again soon!
