   Always great and leans on the healthy side. We made a special trip to purposely go through Nashville and eat at True Foods Kitchen! We wish there were many more around the country.

   Typically this place rocks. Today the air fryer was broken, the food ticket got lost in a computer restart so waited over 30 mins, when mine came it was wrong, both the GF bun and my vegan burger bun were cold (yuck) and my bun was hard on the bottom, so, stale I guess. The meal was completely comped. Dessert was the best thing we ate. Also the seasonal butternut soup was to die for two times last week. But three days ago it was runny and terrible. (I paid for that.) Today the server complimentary brought us the soup even before anything went wrong. It was somewhat better but still not nice and thick like it should be. So: consistency issues for sure, plating and quality not great for sure. Bathroom stall out of order as well. This place clearly is limping a bit — hope it gets the help it needs soon!

   Great food in a casual setting that still had an elevated feel. Wonderful menu with lots of options and excellent ingredients that set it apart from other spots!

   The hostess did not bother to greet us when we walked in. We are the first one in when they opened for lunch and had a reservation. She took a good two minutes to decide where to sit us when the entire restaurant was empty. Server was good. But food took a long time to come out. 25 minutes when there was no wait for a quick lunch. Portion was small and my husband’s Nashville hot chicken sandwich barely had any spice on it.

   I have always been a fan of this chain but last night pushed me over the edge. Prices have increased, portion sizes are smaller and the quality of the food overall felt like a step down. Husband ordered the Korean Spicy Chicken sandwich which looked like a slider sized bun. He was asked what he wanted for a side and the server pointed to the sides section of the menu - which ended up costing him $2 extra for runny mashed potatoes (after further review of the menu the sandwich only came with a kale or green salad. So his plate ended up costing $19.99. Super disappointing. After years of supporting True Food, we won’t be back.

   Visited True Food Kitchen in Nashville for a 7 PM dinner with a party of five, hoping for a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, the service was extremely slow, and our waiter seemed unenthusiastic, which set a negative tone for the meal. The appetizers were a mixed bag. The dumplings arrived cold and soggy, indicating they may have been sitting for some time. For my main course, I ordered the French Dip Sandwich, expecting quality for the price. However, the sandwich was disappointing, with only a small portion of beef (around 1-2 ounces) on a large bun. To make matters worse, the au jus was served cold. I requested a reheated portion, but the waiter never followed through. Overall, the dining experience didn’t meet expectations, both in service and food quality. Considering the price point, we left feeling dissatisfied.

    Our waiter was very nice, but busy! We waited longer than usual for the food and some items were cold. Even after returning a couple dishes, they came back lukewarm. Disappointing visit overall.
