   We had a very nice lunch here. The burata starter was delicious and huge! My husband had the day's special: sardines and really enjoyed them too. Both our pasta dishes were excellent; perfectly cooked fresh pasta. My only minor gripe was that some of my vongole (clams) were gritty, otherwise a really tasty lunch.

   Had a wonderful meal, service was excellent everything was perfect apart from being a little cool in the restaurant. I would choose upstairs next time

   Lovely comfortable evening spent with friends. Nice surroundings and knowledgeable friendly staff. Our food was plentiful and beautifully served. Scalopina, Ceaser Salad with Chicken Prosciutto Funghi Spaghetti and Meatballs

    We visited Trio with my parents, who were over in Spain. Mum is Italian and can be quite picky about her food. She had a bit of a thing about having to have vegetables at the start of her meal (sorry, Trio), but the staff was very polite and accommodating. The home-made pasta was lovely (I had the vongole), the burrata was too, and the pizzas were very nice. Service was very quick, polite and friendly. My husband and I will definitely be returning to sample more of the pasta (we love the look of the seafood dish but had had this at home the night before, hence not ordering it), but perhaps at a different time of week and day (we went Monday lunchtime, and it was only us in the restaurant) when there is a little more atmosphere. Overall, though, very pleasant and welcoming and the decor, lovely.
