   An attempt to be upscale Italian that succeeds about 70 percent. Food is decent, wine list is creative, service is a bit unprofessional. All in all, too expensive for the experience at this point.

   Our server Megan was exceptional! She was very knowledgeable and terrific about answering our questions and listening to our beefs. The atmosphere was wonderful. It is a beautiful space. The food was so-so. The salads were fine but the entrees of Agnolotti and Tagliatelle were not what we expected. The Agnolotti was way over salted making it very hard to eat. The Tagliatelle had large pieces of pickled shallot that were overpowering to the dish's other flavors. The Sticky Pudding? and Tiramisu desserts we shared were delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the experience but Megan was probably the highlight of our meal.

   Food and service were excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious snd would definitely recommend the scallops and bucatini. Restaurant had an upscale vibe but with a casual atmosphere. A new favorite in the area for Italian.

   We found out about Tre and their new chef from an article in the Star. The food overall was very good. My wife and our friends Scallop dish was excellent. My chicken entre was just so, so. Unfortunately it was tough and chewy. Everything else was outstanding as was the service via Alex. We will definitely try it again.

   Megan was fantastic. She was able to provide insight and suggestions on the food and wine making the experience wonderful. We will definitely be back again.

    Was very excited to try this with the new chef and menu. Maybe our expectations were too high, because we found everything only okay. The basil gnudi were delicious, however. The desserts were mediocre. Espresso and cappuccino were mediocre. Servings tend to be quite small. Squid ink spaghetti with clams was really disappointing. Only a spoonful of rather tasteless pasta, surrounded by chewy clams. Joey our server was great. It is way too loud. At one point, the four of us were the only ones in the back room and we could barely hear each other. Not having a sign on the door is the height of pretension. Just a big blue door with III above it, which is all hard to see at night in the dark. If I hadn't told our dinner companions (who don't live in Carmel) exactly where to go and how to get there, they never would have found it. Plus, the prices are inflated. More than $100 per person. Not worth it and not going back.
