   Italian menu with nice decor. The waiter was nice. Goes down hill from there. We did have a lovely salmon carpaccio appetizer which was served at the same time as our salad course. I had seafood risotto and a soggy Caesar salad. The risotto was hard, it was cooked in what tasted like straight tomato paste. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs. His pasta was also hard and the meatballs had no flavor. Totally not worth a billl way over $200 ($40 of it wine). Stick to the appetizers!

   We weren't sure we wanted to try Tramonto this trip as we were disappointed with it our last visit to Vidanta. We are glad we did as it was excellent in every way! Food was hot and very tasty. Servers were friendly and pace of service was perfect. Management stopped by on more than one occasion to be sure all was fine. We could see Xavier was everywhere keeping the restaurant running smoothly. Best overall meal in our 10 days, so far.

   Service was seriously slow! Drinks were slow in the beginning and waiter was always forgetting our order. Food was barely average on Prime Rib night! I ordered a huge lobster tail and it was overcooked and dry. Incredibly high priced evening. Disappointed

   We enjoyed our meal here while staying at Vidanta. The service is incredible and everyone is so kind. We had the lasagna and the carbonara, which were pretty good. Not the best of either dish we’ve had, but okay-good enough. The table side tiramisu was delicious! It’s not your traditional tiramisu texture or experience, but the flavors were incredible. We also enjoyed the bread basket, cocktails, and wine. We visited in January and with the weather, sitting outside was such a lovely experience.

   Everyone enjoyed their meal especially the short ribs and one person was able to get gluten free pasta. We are returning in 5 days

   The food cost is very reasonable but the wine is horribly overpriced. A $20 bottle of Riesling was $72. Ridiculous mark up . The wine was more than our food costs.
