How disappointing. We never got to eat. Made a reservation to take our daughter on Christmas Eve. Waited about 35 minutes and saw multiple parties seated ahead of us. When we asked hostess for update on our table she snapped that she couldn’t make people eat faster. Realize it was a holiday but we had a reservation and there were multiple empty and available tables. We left and went elsewhere.

Our first visit was Christmas Eve and a wonderful experience started the moment we walked in the door. Between Alex and our server Chloe who couldn’t have been more lovely and the dinner it was fabulous. We will be back again very soon.

It was nice that the restaurant was open but the tables were large and there were too many of them so no space to walk around tables. I made a mistake in asking for medium well on the mixed grill, but the lamb and chicken were overcooked and dry. My wife’s bolognese was watery and not good, very little meat

Beware. This was supposed to be a very special pre- Christmas dinner with close friends. But the entire experience was far short of expectations and price. The laid back waiter was disinterested in our party . Our friend ordered a Chivas on the rocks. “ What’s that?” Was his reply. It took 45 minutes for dinner to come. The $62 filet was dry and tasteless. The petite filet was less than petite for $52. It was loud and the wait staff seemed bored. Unprofessional and way overpriced. Not going back.

Good food. Boston prices. Service is hit or miss and tonight was a miss. The server was nice but didn’t stop at the table to check on us a single time after appetizers or meals were delivered by support staff - had to stop her twice to request drinks or request the check. It was an hour after our reservation time before we ordered our entrees, and not because we weren’t ready. The food was very good. Mozzarella Carroza (excellent); mascarpone mashed potatoes (excellent); filet mignon (very good); onion strings (excellent); Dry aged strip (excellent). The cocktails were prepared very well too.

Great food, lots of variety. Attentive service. Noise was louder than usual, perhaps more dining out for the holiday? Some mix-up initially regarding the table I had requested as they wanted to seat me at a high top in bar and I had requested low top in dining room. After about 5 minutes this was resolved to my satisfaction. It's one of our regular go to restaurants and I highly recommend!

Not a great night at Toscana. Initially the waitstaff was fairly attentitive but they were busy that night. The big complaint is from the time our irder was taken for food it took over 45 minutes and much prodding of our waitress to get it on the table. My friend’s swordfish was a very thin and small piece and I know he went away hungry. I think we will choose another restaurant next time. Most disappointed in the slow service.
