   We made a reservation, but decided we wanted to eat in the bar area. The owner is courteous and very customer service friendly and added us to the waitlist for a bar table. We didn't mind at all sitting at the bar.Ordered drinks and some shrimp cocktail. The food was excellent. We ordered the dover sole and salmon All excellent. Next time.. surf and turf. Love the neighborhood feeling with elevated service and food. Can't wait to go back. We used to live in the neighborhood and went here in the 80's. Even ran into some old friends Just love they kept this gem in Melrose and Tom is making plans to keep it going even better. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

   Overall, we enjoyed a nice evening out with friends. I did, however, have to return my baked potato because it was not done. Also, my steak was not rare plus. It was closer to medium.

   We love the place. Excellent service always well attended to. First time we had a problem with our seating. I've made reservations for a bar table, but the hostesses said there weren't any available. I then did tell her we did have reservations and they did find a table for us. The only strange thing about that was that only one was used at the time. Usually, there's a reserve on our table, but there wasn't one or none on down the way..

   We all ordered Prime Rib. Cooked perfectly. Miguel & Kelly were very friendly and attentive. It's nice to be able to carry on a conversation. Most restaurants these days are so loud.
