Why they're an Icon

Executive chef: Chef Brady Williams

From the OpenTable editors: Fine dining with an impressive wine list in a former adult video store? No seriously, it’s fun. James Beard Award-winning chef Brady Ishiwata Williams of Canlis fame throws down a creative and playful Japanese American tasting menu that might include three bean salad, Dungeness crab rice, and culminate in a mountain of the Japanese shaved ice dessert kakigori.

Went there for our anniversary and had the Steakhouse concept. Food and service were good not great. Standout was the brussell sprouts dish. Its super expensive though and it's in White Center so really?! $50 for a corkage fee and they don't even have decent stems. Go to the Met Grill or El Gaucho if you want to spend on a steakhouse splurge and you'll have a much better experience overall.

Good, not great. Went for the Steakhouse concept in December. Food was fine, but definitely not on par with top steak houses in Seattle, despite the price point being at par or above a top steakhouse. Portion sizes were small/weird - we were given half a loaf of baguette crostini for 4 tablespoons of crab dip, and an entire plate of vegetables for a tiny smear of almond spread. Service was good, and cocktails were great. But, when the cocktails, potato and brussels sprouts are the best parts of a steakhouse dinner, you're probably better off doing something else with your time.

first time we went here for a special occasion it was amazing. Last night not so great. Some things were just off. Like i dont need a baked potato served off a gold potato cart and it was undercooked. I wanted to like this place as much as the firat time but it just wasnt there last night. That being said there was a couple stand out dishes mainly the brussle sprout side and the cabbage served with the Tuna. Both outstanding. I hope this place makes it as there "aint "much in white center as far as creative fine dining. All in All $400 plus for 2 no alcohol. Ouch that one stung.

The Chophouse themed dinner was simply amazing! The Waldorf Salad - so simplistic but one of the best salad courses I may have ever eaten. And the baked potato cart - I splurged for the black truffle add-on. I may never eat a baked potato again because I know it’ll never be this good. Once again all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating to all of my questions. I truly love the laid back atmosphere - hard to believe as always this gem is hidden in White Center.

We went during the month of December which features their chophouse style menu. Our dry aged prime rib entree was overcooked and chewy, the best thing we had was the steamed wagyu slider and Brussels sprouts.

Not the refinement we had hoped for. The staff were dressed like they just rolled out of bed. Literally. The staff were inexperienced. When asked about taste profiles always had to huddle or go ask someone else. Food was plentiful and super expensive. Non traditional service flow. Overall, Not worth the $450 price I paid for 2.

Amazing food and fantastic service. A top notch experience all around and the caviar baked potatoes are over the top good. Well worth the trek to White Center.

We went during an early hours, which was perhaps a reason for the and usual service level. We’ve been here before and had a different and much better experience. Perhaps it has to do with what time your reservations are at
