   Our waiter was wonderful. The choch fritters were very good as were the Cuban cjgars. Fun meal.

   We had an amazing time at Tipsy Mermaid. We had reservations, so we were seated right away in a corner booth near the bar. Our server, Logan, was just the right amount of attentive. Our glasses never got empty. We started with the Coconut Crack Conch appetizer with an extra side on their tequila lime cocktail sauce. It was delicious. I ordered the Lazy Way Lane Mahi Mahi with beans and rice. I added some cocktail sauce to the beans - yum! My husband got the Spicey Rooter with beans and rice. It was a bit salty for me, but he liked it. We had a very yummy bread pudding for dessert. We also tried a few cocktails from their menu. During our dinner, the manager stopped by to check on us and we saw him moving throughout the restaurant checking on tables and delivering drinks on occasion. Our empty dishes were al removed promptly. This is a restaurant we will be returning to many times.

   Our first time dining at the Tipsy Mermaid. My wife had the Seafood and Grits that she found outstanding. I had the drunken shrimp. The Shrimp were nicely prepared, the cocktail sauce had good heat and the serving presentation was unique. We both shared in a bowl of the Conch Chowder, which was well prepared and well seasoned. The service was great. We were promptly seated even thoug a bit early for our reservation. Our server gave us an appropriate amount of time to selct ouir cocktails from their Key West themed cocktail list. The cocktails were served in a very apprpriate time line. Their service team worked well together. When my wife had finished her cocktail, our server was tied up at another table, so a different serverchecked to see if she wanted a second, which she did, and he was able to bring the right drink over, even though she did not have to tell him what it was. The only slight negative is that it was somewhat loud. It is a bit of a hike from our home (45 minutes) but we anticipate another visit in the not too distant future.

   It was wonderful. The seafood was amazing. So flavorful and fresh. It is truly as taste of Key West in Central Indiana.

   Went for Valentine's Day dinner. Ordered the valentines martini that tasted like pepto-bismol with chocolate syrup, it was thick and chunky, unlike any martini I've ever had. Conch shrimp fritters were extra chewy not very good. The valentines shrimp and lobster ravioli special tasted fishy and nothing like ravioli. The coconut crusted mahi mahi was disgusting, very dry also fishy tasting. Took home the mahi mahi leftovers for my dogs and they wouldn't even eat it. The Mahi mahi sandwich I ordered was ok but they loaded it with way too much slaw I've had way better mahi sandwiches at pubs. Onion rings were ok that was the only decent thing we had. Atmosphere and food presentation were good but that's about it. So all in all I spent over $160. I really wanted to like this place. Both me and my girlfriend now have bad stomach cramps and indigestion. Will not recommend, I can honestly say this was the worst seafood I've ever had at a restaurant.

   Great local place with amazing food and service. We enjoyed the conch chowder, ceasar shrimp wrap, and the Havana Ooh-la-la handheld. All scrumptious. Very loud - even for brunch.

   My wife and I went for her birthday and had a wonderful meal and great service. Our server was Ella and she was very attentive without being intrusive to our time. We live locally and like to support our local businesses and feel the value was well worth it!
