   Probably the worse food I eaten in a long time. The colifrower steak was undercooked with no flavor, the rice was mushy and no flavour, the salmon was a bit off, and I had to wait ages to get served

   This was my first time dining at Tīng with my partner, and it was a brilliant experience. The dishes were delicious but also well presented, and the dessert was a lovely finish. The service was excellent, attentive throughout. The only thing missing was being seated next to the window, but we were aware this wasn’t guaranteed, so it wasn’t an issue. Thank you for a memorable meal!

   Food and ambience were amazing! We had the 3 course lunch and all courses exceeded expectations. The view was phenomenal.

   From top to bottom the experience was lovely, no complaints. Out server Yusif took care of us too. Good man.

   Was initially apprehensive given that Ting's views might mean that the restaurant borders on touristic (and overly busy such that food and service would be compromised) - although was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Food was good, service was impeccable and seamless, and the team was very thoughtful (in assisting with my mum's birthday celebration). Great value for money to, with the weekday set lunch!

   The evening started on a negative. I had wrongly assumed that if you booked into Ting, you would be welcome into the other bar/s for a drink beforehand. At the entrance, this turned out not to be the case. We were told that we could use the sky bar but they wanted a £30 per person minimum spend for the privilege. I had booked the 3 course meal for 2 of us. When we arrived, it transpired to be a 3 course 'festive' menu. We raised this with staff on arrival and were offered the a la carte as an option. The service, to be fair to the restaurant was great. Unfortunately the food leaves a lot to be desired. We had the game terrine and the crab for starter. The game was tasteless and well under seasoned. For main we both had duck. The fat on the duck was rubbery and if you removed it from the half breast we each had, the meat was tasteless. The dessert was probably the best part of the meal, however, the mousse we had was tasteless and it came with goats cheese ice-cream which in all honesty was just like eating goats cheese and took over the rest of the dessert. The other option was nice enough but was like a large mince pie. We raised all the issues with staff as things happened. One member of staff came over to advise that it would have been better if we'd had the a la carte.... which didn't go down well as the food should be good regardless of what menu you choose. I asked the desk when leaving about whether we should at least have been able to use the sky bar before our dinner. Considering you can just walk down the stairs to it. He advises if we had a reservation, they should have not put a minimum spend requirement on us should we have wanted to have a pre drink. We had wanted to try Ting ever since visiting aqua shard years ago and was so disappointed. Really did not live up to expectations.

   Beautiful Saturday night dinner date at Ting. The Chirstmas decoration at the Shangri-La, in the entrance hall and upstairs was a great start. As always the view facing London Bridge is breathtaking. Our waiter Emilio was particularly attentive to all our wishes, ideas and dietary requirements. Tha mango pana cotta, the Chardonnay from Kazakhstan were highlights. Recommended!

    We had a wonderful relaxed lunch in such a special place with fantastic views over London. My one criticism would be that the set lunch menu is very limited. However, I would definitely visit again. Loved it
