   Really nice dinner - we had the roast which was excellent, even though slightly expensive at £21. Service excellent, everyone including the owner extremely welcoming. Dog friendly too. I’d recommend it highly.

   Ate here as part of an overnight stay. Service from our host Richard and server Janette was faultless. I ordered the steak pie which I have to say looked disappointing when the small dish arrived, this in fact was the best steak pie I've ever eaten, slow cooked beef packed with flavour and just the right amount of pastry, my partner had the burger which was equally good. We'll definitely be back.

   A varied menu with special 2 or 3 courses menu which was good value. Lovely decor, warm welcome, would recommend.

   Great food, staff were lovely and very attentive, also very dog friendly (biscuits and water given to our Labrador). Will definitely visit again!

    We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Roast at the Woodside Inn. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly, while the staff was outstanding during our meal. Highly recommend this wonderful inn.
