   Serving creative and satisfying dishes, along with expertly prepared cocktails, The Wild Goose is a favorite meeting place. The confit duck was wonderful, as was the arugula salad. Our group also enjoyed the blackened burger, fish and chips, cauliflower soup and their famous pigs in a blanket.

   I love the Wild Goose. It is one of our favorite local restaurants. We’ve been there a lot over the last several years, never had a bad meal. My wife loves the arugula salad, it’s her go-to every time. The pork chop I had was perfect. We will be back again next week!

   I just hope they can stay and maintain the current conditions for a long time. For this suburban town to have such a restaurant on its Main Street is an absolute blessing.

   The waitstaff did not welcome us. They directed us where to sit as though we were simply bodies. Overhead was loud and fast Christmas music. They said there was nothing they could do about it. Our waitress was unkind. Simply asking for another knife, she literally grabbed my used one. I requested it back to use for butter and she handed me a mean face. Never again.

    We enjoyed everything from the special holiday drinks, to the appetizer to our main courses to dessert . Service was fantastic!
