The Wardroom is situated on a prominent corner in historic downtown Easton, Maryland, in what was formerly The Brick Hotel — considered a marvel of its time in the mid-19th century. The gastronomic, European-style shop and bistro offers handmade pastas, house-cured meats, and artisanal chocolates from top French chocolatier, La Maison du Chocolat. Both a pasta and wine bar, the Wardroom’s menu consists of authentic Italian pasta dishes, cheese and charcuterie plates customized for each guest, and seasonal salads and antipasto dishes. The basement houses an extensive wine cellar and intimate tasting room called The Locker, as well as a temperature-controlled cheese “cave,” and a kitchen where chefs produce fresh pasta each day.

                  Had a delicious brunch on a Sunday morning. Servers were polite and attentive. Omelets and French toast were delicious. Would recommend to others.

                  Second time for me, first time for the other two guests and it did not disappoint. Good value, excellent food. Staff was extremely kind.

                  Charcuterie by day, restaurant at night? Either way, the food is good (salads followed by very well executed pasta dishes, mostly), and the wine dispensers make up in a fun way for the absence of cocktails here. But be careful, those return trips add up quickly! Our only complaint was that, at night, the lights should be dimmed to restaurant level.

                  My friends and I had a fabulous evening dining at the Wardroom. The service was impeccable. Their Sommelier made our dining experience even better by explaining the different wines and what we could expect with each. Definitely save room for dessert.
