   I always liked The Village bakery for brunch or breakfast however their menu is getting pretty old… unfortunately nothing new or exciting in the menu. I usually get the avocado toast and it used to taste a lot better in the past. I totally understand the price increase over the years due to inflation and all that but i didn’t think it’s worth it. $25 for avocado toast, $22 kale quinoa salad with $18 additional for the protein is outrageously expensive.

   I have tried this restaurant many times because it is in a convenient location for meeting friends and is somewhat quiet. Each time I keep thinking the food will be better, only to be disappointed. It is mediocre at best. I has a limited menu and does variations on well known dishes, but the variations aren't as good as the originals. The white tablecloths are covered with paper, something I don't like much. The seating person is very inefficient, causing customers to wait unnecessarily. The restaurant seems to have no incentive to improve since there are very few in the immediate area.

   Outside patio was fine but table for 4 by the back door does not work. Too drafty, not part of the rest of the scene. Food was really good. Fried chicken needs to have one breast, more white meat. It's was cooked great but the meat could have been better

   A fantastic dining experience. The service is fantastic and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re having a great experience. The menu is delicious, well balanced and gives that fine dining feel. The Village Bakery is great and a place we come back to again and again.

   We sat in outdoor covered area. Very loud. Calamari was way overdone, pizza was good. Ladies w/2 big dogs behind us, I felt like I couldn’t move, I love dogs but the space there is not adequate for 2 big dogs. It was busy but not crazy buzy, service was a bit slow. There were NO holiday decor, totally lacked ambiance. Mom was visiting from out of state she was not impressed.

   Very lovely place. Good food, good service. Near beautiful locations to explore. At least in the patio dining area the tables are quite small and the noise was fun but very loud/echoing.

   We dined here after a fabulous night at Filoli. This restaurant is a gem in Woodside! We loved the beet and Ceasar salads, as well as the Chicken and dumplings and the burger. Fantastic service, too. Highly recommend this spot!

    Been to this restaurant many times bc of convenience, but it hasn’t been my favorite bc service is typically slow and the quality of the food inconsistent for the price, but last night everything was great, the service, the timeliness of the food arrival and the overall quality of the dishes were great. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, whatever the VB team did last night keep it going, and I’ll visit more often.
