I had a lovely lunch at The Tartine Food House Restaurant yesterday, with my Mum and my Sister. We had a super late lunch booking at 2.45pm so I couldn't properly tell you about the ambience as there was only us an one other table in the whole restaurant. But the staff were lovely and friendly, the food was delicious and the service impeccable. I would like to go back there during a regular lunch or dinner service, when I'd be able to experience the restaurant in full swing :)

I picked this place based on reviews so I was surprised by the food being so bland. The dessert was the only good thing (small portions though). We paid for additional truffle on our pasta but have no idea what they used it tasted of nothing. Thankfully, they did take the pasta's off the bill but even then it was poor value for money. I'd have happily paid more for better, tastier food!

Excellent birthday celebration. Quiet, romantic and excellent service. I had the salmon which was delicious. My sister had the simple pasta with pomodoro sauce which was amazing. Great wine recommendation. The honey cake and tiramisu for desert is a must! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Really delicious, refined food in an unfussy, simple layout / set-up . Food was really good - lots of care taken and good menu. Service was a little lacklustre… a little inattentive. Needs to ‘warm up’ and pay a bit more attention to customers. But I will give it another go… they’ve only recently opened so are maybe just getting into their service stride…

The food was fantastic. Enjoyed the beef stroganoff, a salad and lovely glass of Italian red wine. Staff were so friendly and great about suggestions. We will go back.

Fresh chic environment, extremely friendly service and absolutely delicious food, The Tartine is a wonderful restaurant in Notting Hill Gate. Only recently reopened after renovation, I had lunch there on a weekday. Each dish was a pleasure on the eye as well as on the taste buds. The starters were tomato salad and prawns on avocado mousse, both incredibly fresh with the mousse mind-blowingly good. The main course of sea bream was cooked on point and again very fresh. Due to the fact that the restaurant had just reopened, no desserts were available but they were kind enough to cook me a Russian / Ukrainian cheese pancake. It’s a first for me, so rather unused to the texture, definitely need to eat more of it to come to a clearer conclusion, but beautifully made in any case. Overall, definitely recommend this restaurant.

A lovely little restaurant. Friendly, attentive staff, freshly cooked food and a very clean but cosy atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Food and service was fantastic ! The owner served us and he was so very charming. Highly recommend for a lovely relaxing dinner in Notting Hill. Put this restaurant on your must visit list
