Fine dining in a historic brick-and-wood setting with soaring ceilings and windows. Featuring hand-cut USDA prime and dry-aged steaks selected just for us. Poultry, fish, game and vegetarian dishes are offered alongside a full bar serving classic and contemporary cocktails. Enjoy the cozy ambiance of our lounge with fireplace and try out our lounge plates on Lounge Thursday, where most of our lounge offerings are $10! An a la carte menu is also offered. Live piano accompaniment Tuesday through Saturday evenings, with jazz bands performing on Wednesdays.

The beef tenderloin was cut too thin and the taste was average, with minimal seasoning … not special for Valentine’s Day. The appetizer selection(s) were shrimp/fish forward, we had 2 people with seafood allergies. The duck was very well done, it was very consistent with the high quality we expect from the Sycamore.

Overall it's a very nice atmosphere but the food quality just isn't up to the level it used to be. Dishes are way over salted and the flavors just don't pop like they did. Also, the quality of meats doesn't seem the same as it was. While the food was still good, it was not up to the level to justify the price.

We've been to The Sycamore maybe six times with another couple. We took them out to dinner for a special occasion. 3 of the 4 meals were fine. I had the halibut and it seemed to be a good piece but it was dry as cardboard. I ate it anyway, as I think it really detracts from the experience when somebody has to complain and have their meal re-prepared. We had 3 sides. The mushrooms were pretty stringy and tough. We had some small leftovers and had them boxed as takeouts. Those black clam shell plastic containers are not recyclable in Orange County. If we had known about the containers we would not have asked for the takeouts. The piano music was very good but a little too loud. Our waitress was very good. I am pretty sure we won't be back. It's too pricey not to have all the meals very fine.

Food is excellent. We tried two different seafood entrees and the lamb . They were all delicious. Service was great! Piano music fun. Try it you'll love it!

Service and ambience was great. Our appetizers, Caesar salad and beef tartare were excellent. However, although my ribeye was very good, my wife’s New York strip was tough and hard to slice with a knife. Definitely not worth the $56 which was charged for the New York strip.

Always a wonderful experience. My sister, mom and myself enjoyed a Lyles girls dinner. Halibut, duck, crab cake and caesar salad plus an excellent Cabernet were our choices. Can’t recommend Sycamore highly enough!!
