   Great meal at the Sword Inn Hand, also enjoyed the beer from a local brewery. The card on the table for my partner's birthday was also a nice touch.

   We always have a lovely time at the sword in hand. Friendly staff great service, lovely setting . The food was delicious….. My mum had the KFC- which she would not stop talking about- it was apparently amazing (although she wouldn’t share!) Thank you we had a lovely time.

   We have been a many times over the years but no so much over the past 12months or so principally as the menu hadn’t changed much. Came back last night with Aussie visitors and everything was great. The service, the food, all great. So we won’t be leaving too long until the next time.

   Gorgeous village pub with a Cosy fire. Fabulous, appealing and vast menu .all of our meals were delicious ! Service was warm and welcoming and you could feel genuine passion and enthusiasm from each member of staff . They made a real effort to note the booking was for a birthday and paid extra attention by also placing a birthday card on the table for the birthday girl and brought out a cake we had supplied . We will definitely return. These types of pubs/restaurants deserve loyalty and success.

    Great location. Great food. Love the menu. Some very interesting dishes. Loved the guiness and marmite butter on sourdough. My venison suet pudding was delicious. Great service. Lovely staff.
