We are a 17th century country pub with rooms. Located in the pretty village of Felmersham, in Bedfordshire - North from London. Come and feel part of our community and experience the best produce Bedfordshire and beyond has to offer.

    Having had a very good experience at a mid week lunch, we booked for a full Sunday lunch. We certainly were not disappointed in any way at that Sunday lunch. Food ingredients were to the highest standard and perfectly cooked and presented. In fact, far more of every item was provided than our party of four were able to eat. Every member of staff encountered were genuinely friendly, very attentive and well trained. This is one establishment that is not to be missed and we will be returning to again.

    It was a great meal. We're vegetarians and we like cheese, so the menu was perfect for us. We loved that they had vegan and vegetarian choices.

    Fantastic night out. Loved the imaginative vegetarian menu. It was great to see the same menu, with adaptions, rather than not feel part of the same experience as the others. It was an absolutely fabulous evening and the staff were really great. 100% recommend it

    Great food, well prepared, lovely friendly service. Only minor gripes…dining room acoustics made it difficult to speak or hear at times; car parking is somewhat limited. Very happy to recommend.

    Lovely idea for the menu - limited choice, which we like because you know the effort and preparation has gone into every plate. Food perfectly cooked and plenty of it over four courses, not to mention the beautiful bread to start with.
