   Whilst we had a great experience and the service was good, two of us had the ribs that were way over seasoned. We were very hungry when we arrived and agreed that we ate and probably should have returned them. The service was pleasant enough that we chose not to complain but did bring it to the attention of our waitress Hoping that she would feed back to the kitchen. One of us ordered the burger which was served in a bagel rather than a bun. We are pretty sure that this was a substitution at the last minute. Should have advised us as we would have chosen something different had we known. The burger was for a child and a bagel is a bit tough for a youngster.

   Great Sunday roast, good choice and plenty of everything on the plate, all good quality. Relaxed atmosphere.

   We had a superb Sunday lunch with great attentive service in one of the cabins. Kids & dog were welcomed warmly, the roasts were fab & garden was a bonus for kids to play into. We will be back thank you

   We booked one of the ‘Pods’ for a family birthday. We were greeted warmly and shown to our ‘Pod’. The inside was clean, spacious and a comfortable temperature. All of the staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Our food was tasty and all plates were cleared. We will return again and I highly recommend the ‘Pod’ experience to anyone who enjoys good pub fayre and enjoys a little privacy.

   Really good service. Lovely staff were very keen to accommodate our food intolerance. Interesting menu Best risotto ever Speedy service Nice clean modern toilets!

   Excellent food and service at this lovely pub. We booked for lunch to celebrate Dads 91st birthday, as we had come last year with all the family. Everything was lovely, the staff are all super friendly and so efficient and helpful. The food is amazing and we were booked into a pod which is such a lovely place to eat with your friends and family, it’s like having your own private dining room. We will be back very soon, thank you.

    Lovely pub and we had an outdoors dining pod for our meal. It was warm and cosy and perfect for the occasion. Food was superb and I was impressed by the service. Thank you.
