   Best food this side of the hemisphere! I'm so disappointed in all of the other so called upscale steakhouses I've visited. 5 stars all around.

   Overall a great experience, the food was delicious. We did feel a bit rushed and it’s difficult to have a conversation because it’s a bit noisy.

   I was really excited to try The Ruxton, I had this place bookmarked for months and was looking forward to the evening. My friend and I attended a play nearby at the Lyric theater that afternoon, midway through the performance we decided to book a reservation for an early evening meal at 7:45pm. We arrived at The Ruxton and valeted at 7:51pm. Upon entering the host area I informed the hostess that we had a 7:45pm reservation, she furrowed her brows slightly and rushed toward the dining room. After another 10 mins, I glanced at my watch to see it was now 8:06pm and we had not been seated yet while another party, seemingly larger, came right in (missing a guest) and was sat. After approaching the hostess stand to confer on the delay, the young lady informed us our table was ready and then hurried us over to a gorgeous booth. A gentleman that was not our server immediately came over to give us water. After looking at the menu, eventually our waiter arrived (a different individual than who provided water), and this gentleman informed us that is was Ruxton policy to take the entirety of our order at one time, after communicating we were famished and would love some bread he then reminded us again that it was policy to order all at once and that the chefs were trained to prepare and release the courses properly. He then disappeared until eventually we requested to speak to the manager, and by that time it was 8:27pm, nearly an hour past our reservation time and we had practically just been sat and had not received a cocktail or table bread. Graciously the general manager came to our table to inform us that there was an internet issue regarding reservations, order system, even the music was not functioning properly. I understood and informed him that we were not interested in making a bad situation worse but did want to communicate our displeasure and hoped to constructively provide criticism. At approximately 8:38pm our cocktails and table bread finally appeared. 2/10

   Whoever was cooking used excessive amounts of salt! I had to send my steak back and I couldn’t eat my sides. Even my appetizer was hyper salted!!! I had the Waygu Sliders!!!

    Brought my daughter to have a nice dinner, the hist, waiter and the place was great.I totally agree with dress code for a special elegant dinner and the text we receive but when I see its not in effect I wonder!! We ordered beef tartar that was so spicy and lost the taste of a good tartar, I prefer i do the spread .We also Had Cesar salad that was top notch but the crostini was so hard it should be little soft so can suck the dressing.My tenderloin steak was great but sauce au Poivre was somehow bland need more flavor. The macaroni and cheese was great. The lime cheesecake was ok but not to the standard of this venue.We enjoyed the ambiance even though we where seated last table in the corner near a black curtain.
