   Happy Birthday to me!! Perfect dinner.... perfect dessert..... Always great food, service, and friendly owners! Also.... had the Crab Dip appetizer tonight for the first time .....Wonderful!! Largest Pork Chop I've seen in a restaurant.... and perfectly cooked. Also....do NOT miss the Bread Pudding Ala mode..... or take one home to have later...... :-)

   If you want the BEST eggs Benedict.... this is the place! we always love to order brunch....the pancakes will melt in your mouth.... but we also eat lunch and dinner here at times and love all that we've tried.

   Great food at a casual restaurant on a Saturday Night! Crab cake sandwich was very good and the clam appetizer was great! Of course very good cocktails as well!

   My Mom and I tried the Pleasure House Rd. location in May 2024 for a midday quick bite and loved it. We decide to try the Red Mill location for Sunday Brunch early September 2024, did not disappoint. Veggie omelette was cooked perfectly not too done or too soft with generous veggies. The home fries are good, crispy outside tender inside, however if you are a purist they are not cut fresh potatoes. Mom ordered The Good, her eggs were cooked just right, delicious bacon, and the sour dough bread was very good. Look forward to trying a dinner meal.

   All 4 of us had something different, and ALL of it was great! Usually come for dinner, but had lunch this day and would recommend to anyone. Two people had the specials… Rustic Fried Rice and Peaches Waffle… and two had Caesar Salad and Crab Benedict… delicious! Service was great, not too noisy , great experience!

   It was bday celebration but. the server lack the attention to detail.No greetings or smile.My food for the price was salty smoked salmon and very small portion for the price .The shrimp was good but very tiny shrimp for 3 pieces .The salad was just plain.My expectation was high but I was really disappointed.

   We love the Rustic Spoon. The vibe is upbeat and fun, but it’s not the place for a quiet conversation. Like many restaurants these days, the high ceilings and exposed ductwork provides the perfect scenario for sound to bounce around, making a constant loud din that surrounds the diners. If noisy isn’t an issue for you, you will be rewarded by terrific food, an attentive and welcoming staff, and a menu that delights. Their brunch selections are especially wonderful, as are the fun libations. No matter what meal you decided to enjoy there, they cook their food perfectly and they are seasoned deliciously! Used to have to drive all the way to the original location near north beach, so we were thrilled to see them opening this Red Mill location. If you’ve yet to try it, go. You will be adding them to the list of your favorite “go to” spots!

    We tried the Rustic Fried Rice Special…..Delicious… kudos to the chef! Also had the fluffy buttermilk pancakes….. always a winner! They had a busy brunch today, yet the service was awesome ….. great staff…. 😊
