   We had a beautiful meal here today, however I feel the desserts are overpriced. The bench was covered with crumbs when we arrived but otherwise great service x The Camembert starter and Blade of Beef are to die for🥰

   We were only in town for two days and the food was so delicious (and the staff so wonderful) that we ate there both nights! The baked camembert and the goat cheese phyllo appetizers were heavenly, the burgers and fries were perfect - and you HAVE TO get some sides to share for the table. The brisket mac and cheese and the mushroom sides were AMAZING!!!!

   Lovely meal today, 2 of us had the roast beef dinner which was absolutely stunning. My daughter who is a picky eater had camembert and a garlic bread. Huge portions with really nice desserts too. Great service by very hard working staff.

   Excellent service. Quality of the meals was superb. Presentation of the food was excellent. More like a high end restaurant. The chefs are masters of their craft here, well done and many thanks.

    Disappointed! We have been regular diners here for a couple of years, visiting almost every Sunday. We have always enjoyed great food and have previously left good feedback for Morgan and his team who is an excellent manager and there is always a pleasant happy team. However there has been a huge decline with food quality and rude staff in January 2025. We visited on the 12th, 19th, 26th January and had our usual beef Sunday lunch with wine. We barely had time to take our coats off before a waitress was eager to take the order, and 5 minutes later lunch was on the table the same time it took to bring the drinks out. Everything appeared to be rushed creating a stressful atmosphere. The staff seemed unhappy and uneasy We mentioned that the food was not hot. It appeared to have been prepared earlier and then just brought to the table, consequently not hot and fresh. The Yorkshire puddings and potatoes were cold and hard. We did pay the total bill as my partner does not complaining and persevered and returned the following Sunday to give the team the benefit of the doubt. However we had a similar problem. So last Sunday 26th January we asked the waitress when we ordered to give us some time to settle in at the table and requested the food to be hot. The food still came out within 10minutes of being sat down and was cold! We told a hostile waitress who appeared who looked very angry and commented that it was impossible for the the food to be cold. She went to get a female manager wearing glasses who took the dinners away and promised to bring 2 fresh dinners out. However when she returned she gave us the same dinners that had been put in the microwave with the extra gravy I had poured over my dinner still on it and dried around the edge of the plate. We pointed this out to her and she was adamant that they were fresh. It was obvious she wasn’t willing to apologise, so we paid the bill which has averaged £80 each visit. We will be now be taking our custom elsewhere!
