If you are looking for a unique, yet impressive venue for your next special occasion, then look no further. The Rocks, located right at the edge of Mornington harbour offers spectacular views of the local pier and boats, nearby sandy Mother’s Beach, distant cliffs and rolling hills of Beleura. MYC Function Room: With large windows across the room and large bi-fold doors opening out to the main balcony overlooking Mornington Harbour, the function room caters for sit-down weddings of up to 80 people including a dance area. For cocktail-style weddings, we can cater for up to 150 people. The Restaurant / Deck area exclusive: Larger sit-down weddings of up to 110 people can be accommodated when booking the Restaurant and Deck area exclusively for your wedding party. This area can also cater for up to 250 guests, for a stand-up, cocktail-style weddings.

Food cold, sloppily reheated and served in about 5 minutes, sold at premium prices - politely let staff know, no responsibility taken or comping of our dishes offered, then proceeded rush us off our table with the bill. We had earlier bought a $150 bottle of wine (anticipating a nice lunch) and poured it out ourselves after first glasses. Should’ve just gone to an honest pub - seemingly Rocks crew have misplaced their hospitality.

The seafood experience gave a great variety. I was also appreciative of being provided with an alternative where I had a allergy. The replacement dishes were lovely.

We were excited about going here after all the reviews but didn't have the best experience. The prices of the dishes weren't reflected in the portion size or the quality. The oysters (the size of a 50c coin) and the gnocchi were bland, and the crab taco had no flavour and was extremely dry.

Seafood was fresh but the execution of the menu / chefs were a little disappointing. In particular the scallops were wasted with the over powering sauce, prawns were little over cooked. Service was swift but little cold not very friendly. Not somewhere I am likely to go back to for the seafood experience given the cost vs standard. Maybe pasta if I was to ever return.

Unfortunately we were completely underwhelmed. The food was just ok, flavourless and way overpriced. The salt and pepper mils were empty. Overall, extremely disappointing. We have been to the restaurant on a number of occasions and have enjoyed the food. We won’t be going back. The only good part of our night was the extremely friendly and attentive service from our waiter.

I was hesitant to go here after seeing some recent one star reviews and didn’t have high hopes. How wrong they are! We were welcomed at the reception by very friendly staff who moved our table so we could keep an eye on our 12 yo son who was out fishing on the pier. The wine list was great and not overly pricey, and the food was superb! The service was excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back or bring friends and family here! Loved it!!!
